2023 Custom Kona ProcessX UMBA Bike Raffle

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. Raffle

    BC Gaming Event Licence #139043

    1 for $10.00; 5000 tickets
    3 for $25.00; 3000 tickets

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: February 15, 2023 at 3:00:00 p.m. PST

    Draw
    Prize Raffle draw: February 15, 2023 at 6:00:00 p.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Corsa Cycles 38123 Cleveland Ave, Squamish

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://umba.rafflenexus.com/winners on February 15, 2023.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Ucluelet Mountain Bike Association.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Ucluelet Mountain Bike Association or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Ucluelet Mountain Bike Association does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: mirandamiller@hotmail.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at mirandamiller@hotmail.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

For episode 4 of Here, There, Everywhere we traveled to Ucluelet on Vancouver Island to visit the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Nation. We met with the trail crew to learn how the Nation is balancing the preservation and development on the sacred land of Čumaata, with the goal of becoming the first culturally aware trail network. The Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Nation are using trail building and mountain biking as a new opportunity for their community to connect with nature and to share their culture with visitors. 

The community and the crew are working hard to build a future that involves mountain biking in their community but the most obvious hurdle, like always, is access to equipment. The idea was born to collaborate with local artist and trail builder, Jay Tuuchii Millar to create this custom Kona Process X to raffle off in order to raise funds to purchase bikes for the community. With the help of both the Ucluelet Mountain Bike Association (UMBA) and Kona Bicycles we hope to raise enough money for the the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Nation to acquire a fleet of bikes.”
